|AT 10:00 AM TODAY, A LOW PRESSURE AREA (LPA) WAS ESTIMATED BASED ON ALL AVAILABLE DATA AT 130 KM WEST OF COTABATO CITY, MAGUINDANAO (7.4 ºN, 123.1 ºE). THIS WEATHER SYSTEM, ALONG WITH THE TAIL-END OF A COLD FRONT, WILL BRING CLOUDY SKIES WITH MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY RAINS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER PALAWAN, VISAYAS, ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA AND NORTHERN MINDANAO. RESIDENTS IN THESE AREAS ARE ALERTED AGAINST POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS AND LANDSLIDES.
THE PUBLIC IS ADVISED TO CONTINUOUSLY MONITOR FOR UPDATES TO BE INCORPORATED IN THE 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST TO BE ISSUED AT 5:00 PM TODAY AND 5:00 AM TOMORROW, RESPECTIVELY, AND IN THE NEXT ADVISORY TO BE ISSUED AT 11:00 AM TOMORROW.
